Why I Run The League...
I’ve played soccer in Northern Vermont for close to 20 years. Having now run a successful 8v8 league since 2017 (Elite 8 Soccer League) I’m excited for the next chapter.
The Elite 11 is the proud torch bearer of full field men’s soccer in Northern Vermont and is a professionally run, competitive league serving the areas top high school, college and lifelong adult soccer players.
The Elite 11 draws from a strong lineage of full field soccer dating back to 2001 when the VSSA originally laid the foundation for adult league play in Vermont with the introduction of VASL - Vermont Amateur Soccer League. VASL ran strong until 2018 when the league was then restructured under the name VASP - Vermont Amateur Soccer Premiership and new management.
Now in 2022, having played 15 years in VASL and with the decision from VASP management to hand the reigns over, the Elite 11 Soccer League is in capable hands and ready for a revival.
