Summer 2023

ALL BLACK FC

This session had it all. 8 teams battled weekly in highly contested, quality matches. The Crushers topped that table with 16 points, there was a three way tie for sportsmanship points between Route 7, Last Resort and MMU each earning 32, Juba Star earned the best Goal Differential and we welcomed 2 new teams to the league.

But it was the championship match that will be remembered for years to come. With a few hundred people in attendance, soccer fans witnessed it all. It was a back and forth battle between 4th seed All Black FC and the 2 seed, defending champions Juba Star. Earlier in the season Juba Star handed All Black a 5-0 beat down that arguably fueled the fire for this one. After trading goals throughout regulation time we saw PK’s awarded and denied by the keeper, as well as PK calls overturned that only heightened the drama. But in the end, deep into a 15 minute sudden death overtime, All Black FC netted a late goal past the Juba Star keeper to claim victory by a score of 3-2.

Congrats to All Black FC for a hard fought with and the opportunity to hoist the cup.

Summer 2022

JUBA STAR

There is no doubt about it… Juba Star has it all. Talent, passion, intensity and skill. And those attributes were put on display all summer long.

Juba Star wrapped up the regular session in first place and then endured a nail biter in the semi finals, edging out RT 7 Utd 5-4 with a last minute goal to earn a spot in the finals vs 3rd place Last Resort who outshined the Crushers 4-1 in the semis.

After 90 minutes of full throttle soccer Juba Star topped Last Resort 5-2 in the championship match with a pair of goals compliments of Jamie Lashua.

Congrats to Juba Star for earning the first ever outdoor Elite 11 Cup.
